AbPrazole Plus™ (Omeprazole + Probiotic) 210g bulk pack - equivalent to 50 x 4.2g single sachets, is for treatment and prevention of equine gastric ulcers in easy-to-measure, easy-to-feed, once a day dosages of flavorless, blue, enteric coated, granules containing Omeprazole plus a probiotic.(Scoop included in pack)Omeprazole is from the family of proton pump inhibitors (PPI's) that blocks secretion of acid and assists by reducing and neutralizing acid in the horse's stomach allowing improved healing of existing ulcer damage.The presence of a probiotic helps restore natural intestinal flora, leading to more rapid recovery and better nutrient absorption.
Dosage and Administration
For treatment regime:
Recommended dosage is 4.0 mg/kg (1.8 mg/lb) per day.- Use one (1) sachet per 175 kg (385 lb) of your horses bodyweight, once daily for 28 consecutive days
For prevention regime:
Recommended dosage is 2.0 mg/kg (0.9 mg/lb) per day.- Use one (1) sachet per 350 kg (770 lb) of your horses bodyweight, once daily, ongoing as required.

Simply sprinkle AbPrazole™ dry onto feed. To achieve maximum effectiveness best not heated, mixed or immersed in water based food, as granules are enteric coated. For fussy eaters mix with molasses or corn syrup then mix with feed, apple or a treat.
